Youth of Sumud are a group of young human rights activists based in the South Hebron Hills of Palestine committed to providing farmers, schoolchildren and families with support and accompaniment as they struggle to live, farm and educate their children under occupation.
Women in Hebron, a program of the Idna Cooperative Association, helps women in the West Bank Hebron district to provide for themselves and their families through sales of Palestinian handcrafted items. Since 2005, the cooperative has sold hand-made embroidery and other craft items in the Old City market in Hebron, however due to COVID-19 and increasing Israeli restrictions on freedom of movement in the city, the cooperative is now working to increase online sales of this beautiful embroidery in the US.
Embroidery sales help to provide employment to 150 women from 8 villages, and have helped the Idna Cooperative Association be able to open a small community center in the village of Idna, where members of the association can gather together to do their work, take part in educational programs and socialize with their peers.
